Message The high pressure hose on my 90 NA was leaking from both ends of the foam wrapped rubber hose section. When I removed the foam wrap the leak was at one end of the rubber hose where the metal connector was crimped. There is no repair short of a new high pressure hose. I agree with fbh1120 that it is time consuming to get the steering rack end of the hose out from under the car. I found it best to cut the zip ties that hold the high and low pressure hoses together near the steering rack and remove both of them at the same time. Use your old pressure switch and transfer it to your new hose as he suggested as well, and reinstall the two hose ends together at the same time. Its fiddley under there but not impossible. Be certain to use the correct copper washers with the correct banjo bolts when reinstalling the hoses to the rack and the steering pump. Good Luck!
