Ok i recently did a 5spd swap on my 90na 2+2 z. everything went well except i put a broken reverse sensor in my tranny lol. anyways i then put a new alt. belt in and cut the ac belt and left it beltless... i'm not sure how the problem ionteract wiht each other but Problem one... the car immedietlly wouldn't start up it would crank and crank but not start. it was getting spark and fuel( im possitive about this cause i checked them all) then it randomly starts later in the day and continues to start all day. next day, it won't start again. i know about the bad connector problems with the ptu and cas so i played with the wires alittle and it would start but im not sure which one i should replace, ptu or cas or somehow replace the wires.
Problem two... when i drive now if i floor the car fast the car stumbles and picks up immedietly. if i press on the gas pedal slowly it revs fine. any type of fast acceleration the car will go down in rpms then go up really fast. it does it in any rpms and gears. today i drove the car and it will be fine and not stumble... sometimes it will stumble for hours at a time and other times it will be fine. all of this happened ever since i changed my alternator belt lol. i know they cannot have anything to do wiht eachother so anyone have any ideas to my problems??? i have another whole motor worth of parts so i have things ready to switch over. the car has 227K and motor was rebuilt at 130k. im assuming hire harness wasnt changed nor was anything else really. so i think. thanks for any suggestions
