lower O-Ring then. A hard start can be a bad Fuel Dampner- pull the vac line and see if there's gas in there. I've heard the same thing about fuel in oil, washing down the cylinders, etc., but I also read that the gas burns off if you drive longer distances. The ECUs are usually tuned rich to protect your car- way too rich in many TTs I looked at. I usually have to pull fuel, not add it. They also run much better after doing this. So yeah, I'd get an AFC and a Wideband if I were in your shoes.
