Message All of the connections are good for all of the cylinders between the ECU harness and the PTU harness. The PTU harness and subharness are good, and the PTU is two days old and tests good as well.

BUT what I did find that I don't think shouldn't be happening is there is some continuity between the PTU 7 pin harness and the middle pin on the ignition coil connector between any/all cylinders excluding the one that it's supposed to be on.

What I'm saying is when I plug in to cylinder 1 on the PTU 7 pin harness and touch the corresponding pin on the corresponding ignition coil connector I get continuity. Also if I touch the middle pin on any other ignition coil connector I'm picking up a resistance measurement as well. This goes across the board on all of the cylinders.

Looking at the wiring diagram, there's nowhere that they should be in contact, I know the image I put up is cutting off a section, but it's running over to the ignition coil relay and the ECU and nothing else. If there are any electrical gurus that are reading this, if you could chime in and tell me that this is normal and I'm wasting my time I would certainly love to hear it, otherwise I will be going down this avenue as well and seeing if there's anything I can do about this. It seems like if the relay is working, then all cylinders would be up, not just some.

I think I'm just confusing myself at this point. I'm also back down to 2 or 3 cylinders so the car won't stay running again. Ho hum.
