Message :I'm about to install some KYB shocks with Eibach springs on my 91TT. I read somewhere that with this setup I will need the camber kit too? Is this true? Do I absolutely need that or is that just for better performance? Has anyone done one without the other?

I'm in the process of changing mine right now too. I'm installing the KYB shocks, Tein Springs and the Brembo Big Brake Kit.

I also purchased rear Camber Arms because I have bad camber wear on the rear tires. It's basically uneven wear on the inside edge because of the camber. The outside edge of the tire almost has full tread but I'll still have to throw the tires away now because of the inside wear.

Camber arms are needed when you lower the car or switch to larger rims + tires. It will save you money in the long run and also be better for performance as the correct camber will get all the tread on the tire to the ground and not just one side.

Cheers
Rob.
