First, under the dash at where the pedal rests at the top, there are 2 switches. Back them out evenly until there are only a couple threads showing past the lock nut. Now adjust the rod so the pedal raises just until it activates the switches, not until it bottoms out. If you do this and all the air is out of the system, you will have about 1/2" of play at the top and your clutch will fully disengage a couple inches off the floor.
