Message I really didn't know how to word the subject, but ran into a very strange issue on the way to work this morning.

I was driving the car normally, not beating it on or anything, car was on and running for about 15minutes. I gave the car some gas, and it didn't respond at all...so I let off, hit the gas again, and nothing happened, but the car was still running...just not responding. For a split second, one of my lights in my dash went on, and I determined it was my headlamp light. After the light turned off, car returned to normal, gave it gas, no problems the rest of the way to work.

I know this is a lousy explanation but this is the best I can explain it. I'm thinking it's something electrical related, did my fuel pump shutdown for a few moments? I would think if my fuel pump shutoff, the car would shutoff, which wasn't the case. Anybody seen something like this happen? I want to get home and investigate, just not sure where to start. Thanks for any help and sorry for the vague details.
