Traditionally you use a centre punch in the middle of each spot weld, then drill the spot welds out. Then you use an air chisel to separate the sheets of metal to remove the panel. Straighten the edges of the panel where the old section was removed, put in the new panel and mig weld and fill each spot weld holes. Grind down any welds that are overfilled and prime and repaint the area. And, if anyone has an idea why this font size changed, I would appreciate a reply, because I'm not sure how it happened.
