Message Z not starting? When the motor is cold, it won't want to start. It cranks over like as if I have the fuel pump fuse near the battery taken out, and I get fuel pressure, but it sounds like it's not getting spark. I sit in my car priming the lines and crank away for about 5-10 minutes with rests in between. The cranking is strong and not weak like it's dying. I know I'm flooding the cylinders so I wait a bit, and start over and nothing happens in cold weather (40-65 degrees).

When the weather is somewhat warm, (70+) the car starts up within 2 minutes of cranking. This still isn't normal but better than when it's cold.

Once the car starts and motor warms up, everything is fine. I can turn off my Z and turn it back on instantly. It used to turn on immediately and as time passed, it would take about 5 sec. Eventually it turned into 30 sec., then 1 min., 2 min., and finally I'm at the point where it won't want to start at times. What the hell is wrong with my car?! This is what I've changed/done:

Air regulator
IAA unit
coil packs
spark plugs
injectors
fuel rail
fuel pump
fuel pump controller
all fuel lines
fuel temp sensor
coolant temp sensor
CAS
PTU & harness
MAS
Starter relay switch
Ignition inhibitor switch
battery tested good
rebuilt alternator
rebult starter
I get code 55 all times even after long cranking
Compression tested all cylinders and got 140-175

I took it to a shop to have a look at it and I told them my situation. They said that I've practically done everything they would have done. My last thought would be that I have one of those early production motors that have the bad driverside head with the soft valves. Can someone help me out? I'm frustrated with this never ending battle.
