FSM calls for removing entire axle assembly before removing hub and bearing. Thanks to member de944 for his technique of just removing the hub and bearing and leaving the remainder of the axle assembly on the car.

Tools needed:
basic hand tools, pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, socket set including 36mm and 27 mm, multiple socket extensions, impact wrench helpful, torque wrench, Long breaker bar

Total time:
first side...forever
second side 1.5 hours

Following all safety precautions including jack stands

1. Remove wheel
2.Remove cotter pin, adjusting cap, and 36mm wheel bearing lock nut from axle. Impact wrench prevents having to replace tire, lower car so tire is on ground, to prevent axle from turning while removing 36mm nut

3. Remove caliper and support it with wire or zip tie to prevent tension on brake line. Remove rotor
4. Remove parking brake components- i suggest taking pictures from several angles for later assistance in reassembly

here are a couple of pictures for reference

5. Use a piece of wood and a 3 lb sledge hammer to knock axle inward

6. Remove the 4 19mm hub bearing retaining bolts. This is the most difficult step. There is not enough space to use a thick walled impact socket, only a standard socket will fit. While pushing the half axle inward, a standard 19mm socket will fit over the bolt. Use various combinations of socket extenders and a breaker bar to remove these 4 bolts.

7. Remove the 27mm nut holding the brake anchor. This required a 3 Ft. breaker bar and half of my jack handle.

the wheel hub will now come off

8. Have the bearing pressed onto the hub. I replaced the hub as mine was scored

9. Replace the hub/bearing assembly. FSM torque spec for 19mm bolts 58-72 ft/ lb . Torque 27mm brake anchor nut to 159-224 ft/lbs.

10. Replace washer, wheel bearing lock nut 36mm FAM torque spec 152-203 ft/lb, adjusting cap, and cotter pin.
for final tightening of wheel bearing nut- replace the wheel, lower car so tire prevents axle from turning.
11. Reassemble parking brake
12. Re install rotor and caliper
13 Adjust parking brake
14. Install wheel and torque lug nuts
15. Time for a steak and a cold one...good job!
