Message ...make along story short -- the service manager was incredibly uncustomer like friendly and after I spoke up about my dissatisfaction with the amount of time he has been sitting on the job and not keeping me informed of the hold ups -- he ended up telling me to come get my parts and tow my car from the lot since I don't like the fact that after 3 continuous weeks of giving me start dates, the work hasn't started yet ---needless to say -- I didn't respond well to his "take it or leave it attitude" and after conveying a few choice words --- today, I picked up the first of two truckloads of parts - dissassembled motor - turbos - driveshaft - radiator - downpipes ---basically my car is stripped of everything under the hood -- transmission is in parts and everything .. I was so pissed off that I paid for the labor ( over $1100 ) they had into it and said don't complete the job. I spoke to the owner and he was very understanding and explained a few things from a different perspective and wanted me to change my decision --but I learned a long time ago, you don't piss off three people - your barber, your chef, and your mechanic... I had to pick my car up out of principle ...I'm not going to be told basically to "take it" and pay full price for someone to complete a job that they normally do for a livelihood when they feel good and ready ... I'll buy cars from there --but don't think I will use their service area for sometime under the current management --

anyway -- now I need to find another shop or mechanic that specializes in Z's in the nearby area ....

I'll keep you all posted on my progress
