| I like to introduce folks to tracking... :lots and lots of concrete walls with very little runoff (ie, if you go off, you only slide through grass, versus hitting a concrete wall). :That makes zero sense. I think you are saying that there is grass run off so I won't be effing up my car unless I am really retarded. Yes? yes, there are many concrete walls at newhampshire. the track looks like a s-load of fun to me, but i am not scared of concrete. check out the online map for the track.
if you have an instructor on board, and you listen to them (and you drive somewhat conservatively), you should be 100% aok. :Other cars good distance from each other or what?
it's gentlemans rules usually. no passing in turns, just on very long straights. there may be 3 passing zones at NH, depending on how paul sets it up. If he flies me up, i'll help run the event and instruct. :) :I think you see where I'm going with this. I would love to drive at the event, but I am a pussy when it comes to my baby. If god forbid anything happened to her, and insurance said fuck you, I'd die. Well, not literally. I think I may sign up for this, as there will be an instructor and I think I have the concept of turn and brake burned into my brain. :Thanks. if you'd like to hit me up; nixit@juno.com nixit911 aim IM nixit911 yahoo IM be sure to check out the track layout on the net and any online videos/pics you can get a hold of. if it's a club lapping day, you may not be covered insurance wise. if it's a club "drivers education event", you should be covered. the club has to pay insurance at the track, but thats usually for injuries at the track not involved in driving (slip and falls and such).
