Message	- Give the clutch from 50-100 starts, ie from like a liek or stop sign, etc. to break it in - SOme vendors say 500 miles, some say 250. Once yoru in gear, you should be able to give it some gas. You dont want to glaze over a new clutch and want it to start to conform well to the flywheel. Once its in gear it realyl shouldnt slip. My take on it is, better safe than sorry. If yrou worried about it, jsut stay off the gas for a few hundred miles.
