Message You'd also be surprised to learn about the differences in turbos versus NAs when it comes to exhaust and how it exits the car. But enough about that...did you even notice the H-pipe versus X-pipe difference? Did you also know we've had a 10hp gain on a Z by going from H-pipe to X-pipe?

Shall I even bring up the fact that the variables in this test cannot be compared to our cars? Do they even give us a chart to talk about? Did you not see the part that mentioned how the carbureted 302 responded to the changes (two jet sizes!)? Sure, these are all things that are affected by exhaust, but the variables change depending upon the car especially when the air/fuel system is completely different and you don't have huge turbos drastically changing the exhaust speed and temperature.

Clearly you don't want to listen to logic and reasoning and the second you find something that says the opposite you act like it is gospel. There's no need for that man...we're all here to make our cars faster, more powerful and reliable. What POSSIBLE reason do you think I have for challenging this? What do I have to gain?

I'm a stubborn bastard, but I do read quite a bit and I talk with a great many tuners and car people all the time :) I don't know everything, but I can tell you why *I* wouldn't want 3" unless I was pushing over 600hp. If you want it and feel the need to justify it, go for it.
