Message my Z is in need of a new turbos (current ones are leaking at the seals). as you all know, this, unless you are a total madman, requires the engine to be pulled. i am not quite sure what to do at this point.

rebuilt/balanced/clipped turbos would cost ~1200. T25/28 cost ~1400. T28 cost ~1700. (am i correct on the upgraded turbo prices?). i dont really want to put in stock turbos again when i can get bigger ones for a little more. i dont really want to upgrade to T25/28 because they only provide ~50 more rwhp than stock. i am leaning towards the T28s, but would that require me to go to bigger inj., dual POP, etc..?

i want to do things now that would require the engine to be pulled, including turbos & downpipes (am i missing something else?) i can afford to, but dont really want to spend a whole lot of money at once. i am stage 3 and do plan to continue upgrading. here are my current setups that i have created for myself:

PREFERRED SETUP
turbos T28
injectors 555cc
boost controller EVC4
downpipes/testpipes
intercoolers stillen
dual intake dual POP

this would cost a lot.
--------------
INTERMEDIATE SETUP
turbos T25/28
dowpipes
intercoolers stillen

dont feel all that great about T25/28.
-----------
SETUP SETUP
turbos T28
downpipes

would i be able to run this for a while until i put in the rest of the mods?
-----------
SCHOOLGIRL SETUP
turbos rebuilt & clipped

bah.
--------------
what do you guys think i should do? would the "preferred setup" be the most efficient (in terms of money)? are there any better things i can do?

thanks,
Jefe
