Message	The ECU does *not*, to my knowledge, regulate boost. Solenoids are in place so it can modify boost in circumstances where the car is having problems, ie when you go into safety boost. Bosot pressure is determined by the wastegate actuator, and by pressure reference being fed to the actuator, ie a boost controller, or boost jet.
