In researching a little about BOV's, I found out that on a car with an airflow sensor (like the Z32), they can actually hurt the performance, depending on how the car is built. Supposedly, the car is sending the right amount of fuel for the air that has come in. But with BOVs, air that has been measured is vented back out of the system, hence the factory resirc. valves keeping the air in the "loop". So with higher boost (more air), the car could be dumping fuel in the engine for air that's not there. Anyone ever have a problem with this? Is there an ecu upgrade that could possibly take this into concideration, or is it just something you have to deal with?
