| I agree with you, Kenny 9psi but I also read some other posts that made me think... I've owned my Z since the end of my Junior year in High School and am now a Freshman in college. I live at home with my parents (disclaimer: I'm still only 17) and I attend the local community college. I have a college fund for me that will easily cover my first 2 years of real college, for which I am very grateful to my family. For me its finding the balance between excessive spending and not enough... I love my Z .. well lets just say A LOT for lack of better term, but I do agree that there are times I will neglect to go out and have fun (i.e. go on dates etc etc) because I'm so stingy with my money that I'm trying to save for some mod on the Z; but I've learned to enjoy life while still enjoying my Z. Member red300zTT96 (Carl) and I were talking one day and he said "Sometimes I wish I didn't have this car so I could have a life...." but then I think what I would have done with all of my money? Cars are my life and I have been obsessed with them ever since I can remember so what should I save my money for if I'm not going to spend it on my Z? "A Rainy Day?" Agreed, some should be set aside. But I know people in my age range who make about as much as me a year (between $16,000 - $20,000 a year) who have NOTHING to show for it. I mean they have as much in their bank accounts as I do (usually less than $500) but they don't even have a car and sometimes not even a drivers license. Instead they've dicked their money off on eating out every chance they get and always spending money on entertainment which unfortunately sometimes includes drugs/ alcohol. So for me, at least I know I have something to show for my hard work and something to be proud of instead of having nothing. Sorry for the super long post but its just something thats always running through the back of my mind, especially when making purchases for the Z. There's my .02 cents on the situation.. and yes.. I don't ever expect to spend as much as Wagz on my Z.
