Message	It's not split downpipes but all down pipes that this rumor/problem is talking about. Saying that the turbo's need a cat behind them for back pressure. If taken away, then the seals will blow. I would think that over the many, many years this would have been posted a million times. This is like the UDP rumor/problem. Sounds like it would make sense, yet unproven in all cases. People have put some 80 to 100k on Sport 500's, stockers can go for just as long. I've ran an open exhaust for 4+ years now, some much longer. No problems and I like many run 18psi at times on them. So I think it's fair to say, unlikely, but ask the masses STAGE V++++ Going to XV+ and beyond :) Yellow Z STAGE II Going to XI+
