Cliff's Notes: 1) If you spend all your money on your Z, it is difficult to live a normal life. 2) I bought a house =). 3) This applies to college students, kids, and anyone else who can be considered "lower income." I saw Wagz post and I realize he must have spent at least $80K on that Z. It's an amazing car no doubt, but I'm afraid some guys here might get the wrong idea. If you don't make a bajillion dollars a year, you just can't do what he has done.
I just wanted to say - before you guys buy mods for you Z, please consider your priorities first. I know if I had spent the money on my Z that I would have liked to, I would not have been able to buy my house (w00t!). It's small and humble, and needs some work, but I own it damnit! BTW Mortgage payments are usually 30% less than rent payments. I have no intentions of telling anyone what to do, but I just wanted to say, before you spend your life savings on something that equates to a non-essential hobby, please consider if you have the money you need to fulfill more important goals. P.S. This does not apply to Wagz. He has spent a ton of dough on his Z, but last I remember, he told me all of his vehicles, home, etc. was paid for. This is just a heads up to the guys who may be spending money on their Z that they should be saving for a rainy day.
