Fisher concepts, and tossed around some figures. I established a set # of units needed to get a significant deduction in price. Once that was set up it was all about placing it in classified. But, here are some hints that will make a things a lot easier on yourself. They caused me a lot of grief and I will be careful if I ever do another one. (1) Make sure the vendor has enough units to fill the order. If you go way over, he'll be back ordered and you'll look like a dick. (2) Make sure the vendor can fill the order on the required date. If your deliveries take a few weeks or months (cough, cough) longer than expected you'll have to go into hidding like I did. (3) Establish a repoir with them and always have 1 person you can go to. This makes it easy to work out errors which almost always happen with group buys. Pending that the person you are working with has enough authority to do those types of changes. *just some helpful hints that would have saved my ass from a good chewing. Hope this helps.* (4)
