Message :The purpose for using the CF graphite panel is for the rigidity of the material. The ledge on the panel that holds down the dash is less than a half inch wide. This material is guarenteed not to flex, bend or warp. It's the only material strong enough at that size to press down the dash and hold it permanently
the vents are just clip in.
the 2 screws used to hold them in are not structural.

if your dash is seperating at the vent, its the actual dash that seperating, not the vent.
to correct the issue, you need to pull the dash (or windshield), and epoxy the dash which is delaminating. back it up with some clamps to allow for proper curing, and then reinstall.
You need to reeveluate what the problem is, then correct it properly. Covering up the problem by riveting a piece of carbon fa99or onto the vent is not only ugly, and tacky, but it doesnt actually FIX the problem.

Just like your misuse of carbon fa99or, you can't even fix a problem properly.

:I had this same arguement with Ni[x]et the supposable aerospace engineer the last time I shared a CF product that is used for its integrity instead of asthetics. But its just so funny how people make themselves look foolish when the try to criticize something that they have no real knowledge of or experience with. That was proven the last time he tried commenting on my products.
LOL. I'd love to see that thread.
I work as an engineer in the structural composites shop of a airframe maintenence facility. thanks anyway. remember, you are the jaded one if you think your carbon fiber products actually serve ANY structural/performance purposes.

:It amazes me how so many mindless people decide, ok well let's bash and flame anything carbon fiber because a couple of opinionated asses have nothing better to do. Had the product been made of some other material none of the above comments would have been made.
improper, versus proper, use of carbon fiber. or brick veneer. or shelf paper

:For the many that have purchased my products, they know the real value and integrity my products hold.

I have over 10 cars with this product on them to repair their dashes and the product has proven itself over and over again.

+ reevaluate your "repair"

Those who do not like the look of the 3k plain weave carbon fiber can paint over it. The simple fact is the material used is neccesary for the strength of the product and what it was intended to do.
