Message	Why are you giving him a non- refundable deposit of 100 dollars? I have been with my father numerous times when he bought a car privately, never did he give them a "non-refundable" deposit. Once he gave a lady 500 dollar deposit that was "refundable," but he changed his mind and she ripped him off and kept it. The point of that was it shold be refundable in my opinion, cash is fine.
