I've gone through two drive shafts from powertrain. First a two piece that had a super soft center bearing that would create thumping under moderate torque. Then a one piece that was completely out of balance ( I mean, window rattling cd-skipping vibrations over 30 mph ). Bite me, it's not a rumor. John said he's had a couple others call in too, complaining about bad vibes. That said, PowerTrain ( John ) have been great about everything have done what they can to right the situation. I just hope they get it right on the third try. I would still recommend them, because I've it seems like a lot of people have had good experiences with them and their customer service is top notch. Bear in mind, each driveshaft had its own problems. That's how I know it's the shaft. : whats the difference? why WONT it work for Zcars.
: i kept quite on this deal for a LONG time, but I am ALL for it. especially the price. If they charged a $1000 for it, i'd probably not get in on it, but thats a financial deal. If I had all the money in the world, I'd get the CF one. : I'll have my Aluminum Drive shaft, built by experts (john at powertrain industries) in a week or two. I will be a proud, vibrationless owner : : : Not surprised there are rumors of bad vibrations and such. : : I have my theories as to why it's not a good modification but I'de like to know more.
