In this case, no. For an ideal gas at constant temperature, there is a proportional relationship between pressure and volume, but we aren't really dealing with an ideal gas, and temperature certainly isn't constant.

Not sure I understand your last comment. Are you saying you have done some testing using AIT's and boost gauges and conclude that a FMIC is ideal? If that's the case, why all the secrecy? I'm more inclined to believe my theoretical experience until someone backs up their practical experience with some data. And I'm not questioning whether or not a FMIC is ideal, but rather what FMIC design is ideal.
