strut bar makes, for the better. Or maybe it's all in my head but is sure doesn't seem like it. The car feels so FLAT. And I'm taking known turns at faster speeds without feeling like I'm close to the edge. I feel certain this would've shaved some seconds off my lap times at the track. Kudos to those of you who talked me into installing it. I guess it does better installed than sitting on the shelf, lol. The rest of my stereo work will have to sit for a week. I've decided to put in new speaker wires all around instead of using the stock OEM wiring, as John9818a suggested to me the other day. And there is a clearance issue with the back speakers rubbing on the trim piece. Instead of raising the trim piece on washers, I plan on lowering the speaker box, by chopping it somehow. Plus, I have decided (for now) to not put the tweeters behind the A/C vents. Too many folks who know more than I are recommending against this for soundstaging purposes. Plus, the grill in front of the tweeters will chop up the soundwaves, unlike a sub woofer where placement and obstacles don't matter as much. That little slope over the A/C vent seems particularly well suited since it is angled toward the center, and not flat against the door. Photos coming soon of some of the stuff I did that was maybe a little different than the usual install. The amp fits great under the passenger seat, and all the wiring and cables are hidden nicely under the carpet.
