Message I am debating myself whether it is worthing making another switch or not. I have been running KOYO HP model this summer, and comparing to last year's TX summer with stock TT unit, my Z usually got over 200F.
With A/C on when it was 98F+, 70% water + 30% coolant + water wetter:
202~208 in city;
high 190Fs on the highway.

With KOYO HP + the same condition above this summer, it seldom gets over 200F but:
195~198F after an extending driving in the city;
188~194F on the highway.

10~15F drop is what I have gained from this unit and the limit of the cooling efficiency of this unit.

I don't track/drag my TTZ simply becoz I don't have time to, so I won't be benefited in that respect.
I have recently replaced my stock thermostat with NISMO 169F unit. As I have expected, it slows down the water temps rising nicely. Eventually, when the water temp gets hot and reaches the radiator's max cooling, it's still going to get very hot.
What I would like to achieve with the KOYO RACE model is to run lower temp in the hot TX summer on daily driving. But, will it be running to cool in winter time? I have never seen it getting above 180F in spring time with A/C off + normal driving.

To balance it out, maybe I don't need the RACE model for my application?
hmmmm.........

Thanks.

Erick
