Message	The antenna your talking about is for the aftermarket TV / navigation computer inside - it's a Japanese car remember!! Normally there are two of the things one on each side of the rear window but the angle the photo was taken from only shows one of them. I see loads of cars here in Japan with them. But, you are right, they do look kind of strange when you first see them. Anyway, hope that clears it up.
