Most of the guys who make them don't have a clue when it comes to interior aesthetics and finishing ... it's all about the details. For instance, I couldn't just leave the squared dashboard and sheet aluminum flooring. I would custom mold a contoured dash and carpet the floor etc. I would also throw in some high end seats instead of the ugly little wedges that Ultima trys to sell you. On most of the build site I've seen, the guys seem to run out of money and interest by the time the interior and finishing work rolls around. This results in a car that is a little rought around the edges. If they are done right, they look like an outstanding supercar. If not, they just look like an okay, curvey fiberglass kit car. :)
