Here is what I want to do,
Ok look at the border kit.
 Imagine having two rods that are a little longer and basically eliminating the two rectangular brackets. so each rod would bolt up to where the brackets
*would* have bolted.
I understand that the rods have to be able to travel with the rest of the rear end, so put a bushing in between the rod end and bolt. add a washer after the bushing for good measure.
why wouldn't this work?
I see the brackets as a weak link, and see no need for them being there.
