A couple of days ago I got an e-mail for an offer on my 94 NAZ. He asked for more info and the lowest price. I replied with the info and a price. Today, when I checked my e-mail, this was his reply:
Hello thanks for the your prompt response!I'm ready to pay for it.I'm so sorry i'm coming a bit late to respond your mail.
I'm based in England,I just called my account officer now here in England, and he made undersatnd the cheque here will not clear if sent to you in America less than thirty one working days!
In alternative, i was able to contact my long time associate in the US (Maryland), he has agreed to make the payment on my behalf and as such i will be responsible for the pick up in your location!
He made me understand he will be making payment inform of a Bank Money Order/cashier's check and this should be cash immediately .
Since the payment is issued and drawn on American bank, i will not hestitate to make the payment via his medium.
He will be paying me some money which is a bit more than the cost of the car.I'm ready to pay $3,600 to cover the cost of the cover. I will then instruct him to issue the payment in your name since you two are in the US, you will get the Money order, cash it and deduct the cost of the car while you will have to send the balance to the shipping company in England, so i can tell my long time shipper to come for the pick up in your location.
If this is okay by you, i will make him issue the payment now, and overnight it to you.
You will have to provide me with your detail information for the receipt of the payment.
I will expect your response asap.

He then replied back saying that he meant $8500.00 instead of $3600.00.
This sounds very iffy to me. The only place that I had the car listed in was tt.net which was about 3 weeks ago. How should I respond? His name is Sobalie Hasney and his e-mail is elect_sobash@yahoo.co.uk
