Message Not sure if anyone is interested in seeing but I thought I'd post it up for those who might enjoy it. Anyway, onto the pics w/ commentary:

Here's the car... 1990 240sx 5 speed...

I bet you expecting the usual SR20DET swap? Not this time..
This baby's going to be Powered By Andrew (me) =)

Just kidding.. it is an SR20DET Red Top going in....

Here's the engine bay after pulling the KA24...

Here's the car with the KA24 on the left and SR20 on the right:

The SR just about ready to be bolted in...

And there she is with the motor mounts in place.. its slightly crooked because the tranny hasn't been hooked up to the driveshaft at the time of this pic..

And here's some custom fabrication we had to do.. The SR20 is equipped with HICAS while the 240sx is not. We had to pull apart the power steering pump and gut part of it along with taking the plug for the rear steering and welding it shut so the fluid won't leak out. Gutting the pump for the rear steering will ensure there isn't a high amount of pressure pushing against our weld...

And last but definately not least, splicing both the harnesses together at different parts has proven to be harder than it sounds... don't worry, it'll be wrapped and cleaned up once the install is done...

Anyway, I hope somebody enjoyed looking at pics. Its been a great learning experience so far and hopefully we'll have it boosting by tomorrow night (knock on wood).
