| :I believe you are the first to try a top-bottom style FMIC on a 300zx... maybe not, but it's the first I've seen. boozt and Joel(PA) have similar FMIC's but I didnt know about them til I was almost done with mine. :I like how straight the pipes are, however the inlet and outlet coming into the end tanks is not the best design. The charge air is forced to make a 90, and another 90 degree bend on each inlet and outlet... I wonder how much pressure drop that causes in comparison to there being 90 degree bends on the actual pipes away from the intercooler. I think it is a big improvement over the stock piping. :What size piping are you using? How much did it cost you to get all of that made to fit your new setup? 2.5", I made my piping. and the labor is no fun.
:Also... is it really necessary to bracket/tape the radiator in place? I'm using a Koyo without any bracketry and it does just fine. When I try to flex the radiator back and forth with my hand, it doesn't have anywhere to go. i have removed so much, there is nothing to hold it in place. I am making some brackets. I just used the tape to suggest where it is going to sit.
