"I am using the Perma cool high performance electric. I got it from Jegs.com. it was about 89 dollars. I am using the 16"fan, it has metal blades and pushes 2900cfm of air. The stock fan only usually pushes about 2500 cfm's Some people say that the stock fan can hit 6000cfm, but i doubt this. anyways i have had no complaints with this fans performance and i live in houston with 100 degree temps, and i daily drive my car. I put 14,000 miles on the car scince i got it rebuilt in feburary. most of those miles had the electric fan. And my engine bay temps feel lower than with the stocker. There was a time in march where we got cold weather for a week or two (45 degrees) and after any kind of driving i caould hold the radiator for any lenght of time with out burning myself. If you live up north you may want a temp controled relay to turn your fan off when its not hot. Even with the temps in the 80's i can stop my car and go hold may hand to the radiator. What more cooling do these people need. By they way i have a stock radiator, so you should get 1.5 times the cooling effiecincy as me with yur aluminum radiator. The little fan in front is stock and comes on when temps are high and if you use your ac. I dont recal mine ever coming on."works for him. BTW M, if you could get your money back from Summit then Jegs.com has the fan and I believe its in stock.
I dont waste time trying to prove anything in my Z... I'm too busy enjoying it. ~ZEN |
