| Imagine how air that is forced into that pipe is going to merge up on the Greddy setup. All that air is pressed together in that single narrow tube and there's a ton more turbulence than with the Pentroofs and other headers. On the Pentroofs (and others like the Dupree ones and even the Greddys) you'll note how even though the air is taken for a longer journey, it's allowed to have a cleaner passage and meet up with the other two gradually into the one bigger tube. That's far from a scientific answer...but I'm sure you can see it.
