Message	from aftermarket filter to aftermarket filter is negligible, as you can see from the comparison, the differences are about 1 BHP, roughly 0.75 RWHP. To me the bennefit would be the filtration saving your engine. I would look at the above article as parts "have been transcribed from a Japanese article featured in Revspeed Magazine, August 1999". I don't know if Revspeed is like SuperStreet over here, a glossy advertisment called a magazine, but it is more independent than a manufacturers claim. "...Downpipes own.
