(pic courtesy of QWK Z)The audio shop installer told me that my center bezel is missing a metal cage/bracket that holds the radio, so the aftermarket head unit can't be screwed on but clipped on the mounting bracket included, and that is why it doesn't sit flashly like the stock unit does. I was not aware of it until then and thought that the bezel was consisted of plastic pieces only.
On my old Maxima, the bezel's double din bracket was like a cage with slots and holes unlike the pic above.
Other than the bracket in QWK Z's pic, are there any other pieces? It looks more like a retainer and stock head unit can't be screwed on it. Anyone has some rear shots of the back of the bezel? Thanks!
