Like Arnel said and I did my first time out in the Z, 18's are going to piss you off more than anything. More so ( like me ) you have a light flywheel. The only way to really launch those is higher rpm's. To low it will bog and bad. Here's where the 18's come in the suck for you. Rev to high, Zero traction, to low bog. Your boost is going to be high, Zero traction. Your 60ft's are going to suck no matter what trying to prefect this launch. I managed a 13.1 at 110mph my first time out on my 18's. But my rims with tires weight 210lbs, and I had my full blown stereo system in the car ( see profile for pic ). Was there just to have fun, but got pissed when people where coming up in the staging lanes asking me if it was all stock. Whats with the daul Pop's? I take it there's a JWT chip in there too with that, but stock injectors? Does the car bog now? Gutted pre-cats or still on the car?
