| Both cars are completely different. I like th front of teh Z better, I like the rear of the Supra. The interios are both nice. Seat: Supra is better Dash: Supra Shifter: Supra Top: Supra Trunk: Z ( it is a 2 seater) Suspension: Z Ease of manuevers (sp?.) : Supra Cornering: Z Highway racing: Both Topend power with SAME MODS: Z Torque with SAME MODS; Z Turbos: Supra Fuel system: Supra Intake Manifold: Supra 60K main; Supra is easier Bearings: Supra Short Block: Supra Heads: Supra ( outflows the Z) Aftermarket support: Supra ( 272 cams, cam gears, turbo kits, etc) Road RAcing: Z Coilovers: Z Drag Racing: Supra Stiff ride: Z Rare car: Supra Sound: Supra (cannot make my 2835 Z with twin 3" pipes to sound liek the Supra witha single 4" ) Smell: I do not know about that, depends on tires and clutch:-) The Supra is WAYYYY easier to work on. Once you take teh stock turbo setup out, it is a matter of minures to replace your turbos, and housings. Injectors are easier to replace on teh Supra. Teh short block handles more power, it comes with a metal HG, the head flows better. Cams are easy to replace. EGR is easy to remove. Replacing teh clutch is the same, except on teh Z you hav eto drop 2 exhaust pipes;-) Teh Z handles better, corners better, it has a stiffer susp in teh rear. The Supra is softer and squats a lot, that make s it a better drag car. Chassis flex is bigger on teh Supra. Fuel sysem upgrade is easier on teh Supra. But teh Z pump handles more power, and it is cheaper to upgrade. Unless you are paying somebody to do teh injectors. Sinc eit is so easy to repalkce teh turbo, people soemtimes have two turbos, one for topend power,and on for lowend. The Supras have Ti exhaust, teh Z do not. The Supras have more room for electronics on teh dash. The Z, on teh other way, seems to have a better coef of drag. The body contours on teh Z are sleeker. Teh Supra looks fat all around. But believe me, it drives nice. My Supra is 500lbs ( probably) fatter than the Z. I love both cars, but I want to get a Skyline GT-R R33, so I can have all teh good engine stuff that teh Supra has, and AWD. Like Ti exhaust 4", two BIG single HKS 3240 or 3540 turbos, etc, etc. The Z is more difficult and expensive to mod. Everything is double, and teh V design of teh engine makes it hard replace/fix turbos, inj etc. So teh Z is teh bigger challenge to work on. Oh, DS on teh Z sucks, teh Supras are better, rear end on teh Supra is better. The 6 speed gearing i sweird compare dto teh long geards on teh Z ( 3rd and 4th).
