Message :Is it nasty (somewhat unbearable to some people) like B&B? or quiet/comfortable like other brands at this rpm range?
:You know, there is a bit of raspiness to this exhaust, just like the B&B. It doesn't seem to be any louder, it's just a bit deeper toned. With the resonators I've heard from two people that have them that it drastically reduces it. Not 100% gone, but it's barely there and for having TPs/DPs that's probably all we can ask!

Now, I get some ideas of the sound characteristics of this new toy.
On a TT, It's deep; it doesn't set off the alarms; its noise level is like most cars out there, but it gets loud on demand.
One Q you seemed forgot to answer (or maybe my comprehension is down again) :-)
Does it have the "somewhat-annoying-to-some" resonance that the B&B has at 2k~3K?
Your answer above is for the raspiness and the solution for the raspiness but resoance if I am not mistaken, right?
If no B&B-like resoance presented, Just for comparism, is its noise level at 2K~3K simiar to the Greddy SP and HKS Turbo, etc on a TT?

As for the quad oval design, would it be this type of tips?

Hope not! If so, ahhhh, it's....... ugly.

Is this LaBree muffler's internal structure the same as yours?

I guess not since this catback style isn't the straighter piping type and the canisters are different, hence, some differences in tone and sound level.

I will shoot you an email a week later for more data and experience of this new toy of yours, and tests on the S100 vs IBIZ. [ http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=944179 ]

Thanks!

:Honestly, the only one is that it smokes a bit for the first few miles because of the inside paint...I thought my turbos were going bad for a split second LOL. Really, nothing bad just yet. If you're concerned about the noise, hit me up via email in a week and I'll have more data/experience for you
