Actually when I first got the car, I wanted to do a TT conversion and was very excited about having a Z. But as time progressed my passion for the Z decreased because I looked around at car shows and all you see is RICE, EVERYWHERE. And no matter how you look at it there are MANY Z's riced out too.
Seedy had awesome pictures up yesterday showing what car shows should be like. But lets face it, did you see a bodykit on any of the cars in seedy's pictures? How many Z's have bodykits, and do you consider a bodykit rice? There are many people on this board who make comments about others for their opinions and modifications who need to turn around and look at their own Z. In my personal opinion...what is rice, if someone likes how their car looks with a bodykit, why call it rice, it is their style. WagZ has a bodykit, Pat has a bodykit, it seems to me that on every other car it is rice, but on Z's it doesn't count.
(almost) Everyone here is here because they own or have a passion for the 300ZX, yet so many posts on here are flaming others for their idea's and how they customized their Z, half the time people probably don't post pictures for fear of being flammed, defeating the purpose of the board.
I personally really enjoy this site, you never know what you are going to run into when you open up the General Forum but lately this forum no longer revolves around the 300ZX but flamming those who post pictures of their Z or something they like.
Lastly, about 2 years ago when I discovered this website, there wasn't this much bull$hit on the forum and that is why I joined, but now its completely different, and the people that have been around before me must have recognized this by now.Well, this definetly went further than the original question but it is something I had to get off my back.
