Subject	Is my mechanic friend right about the capabilties of the Z?

Message	A friend of mine who is mechanic and owns a 94 Camaro with LS1 engine and tons of modds he spent over 30K on it runs low 10's high 9's said the Z is quick not meant to be fast. He said there to many things to do to Z to make it that fast and it could not keep up over time with Camaro. What I mean by that he said that if you ran a Z @120mph for 10 to 15 mins straight you would blow the engine. He also said that upgrading to JW ECU messes up the diagnostics of car which makes most Nissan dealerships unwilling to service the car and cause the rev limiter is gone it is easy to over rev the engine? He also said alot the modds for the car are overated they do not produce the kind HP that they say. He said if you dyno a Z with JW ECU there's no way you see a 60HP increase? I am really into the Z even though I do not own one. I am looking now for the right deal and will buy one buy the latest Feb/Mar I am looking to find out the most info I can about the car. He said my best bet is to do an intake, exhaust and intercooler that would get my car close to 350/360 he said with that I would beat 96% of the cars off line? So what do guys think of what my friend said is all true? Oh... by the way if I did decide to go crazy and spend a ton $ on modds would it cost me to go to stage VIII? and how fast could I expect my car to run the 1/4 mile if it was modded to that level? .....
