Engine problems: Mike W. Jim U. MineFred had told me he was part owner. Why would he lie? We did more to ensure the motor was perfect before putting it on the dyno; more I would bet than most customers you have had. I have little doubt that there was anything we did to cause the problem. As for the cause of the bearing failure, it is my guess that it was one of two things 1). Clearance 2). Oiling problems (as you have already mentioned in one of your posts). If it was an oiling issue, I am happy with that. I'll just have the crank shaft properly cleaned next time. As for the gentleman in Florida you sent a motor to; good catch and yes, you should have taken care of the problem. I would be more interested though in a customer where the motor has actually been in the car, the car is brought back and there has been nothing charged for warranty work. In other words, an occassion where you admitted to a faulty product. That would be more relevant than an obvious problem. B.
