Message engines have blown up from timing as well.

I agree that JWT just adds fuel,and retards timing. I think ( do not quote me) teh final timing on teh JWT is about 17 degrees. With the right gas ( c16 leaded) you can bump it to 22-23 degrees which is very advanced.

With the Zem you guys were pushing way too much timing than the JWT ECU.

That is why for safe power the JWT ECU i sbetter. But Ash knows that teh JWT is way too safe,and optimizes teh maps, still staying on teh safe side.

But a 413rwhp figure with too much timing anbd race gas is not a realistic number.

A realistic figure is Spongerider's dyno at 409rwhp with no timing tweaking at 18 psi with 104 gas unleaded.
