| I've had both the Jim Wolf and Ash ECU's. Actually, I've had several of both. I like the ASH ECU better. Jim Wolf is old technology...doesn't take advantage of all the parameters you can mess with within the stock ecu. It also doesn't optimize Air/Fuel as well as it should. It runs notoriously rich as a safety buffer for boost happy idiots. The Jim Wolf also costs more than twice what ash charges. $550 for JWT vs. $250 for ASH. When you want to upgrade chips...say if you got bigger injectors, or a dual MAF setup, Ash will upgrade for $50 vs. Jim Wolf's $100. The ASH Ecu makes more power. True stage III z's will benefit more from an ASH Ecu than a Jim Wolf. Others will tell you that this is BS...but then ask them if they've ever had an Ash ECU. Nope, they haven't. The people that bash the ASH ecu have never had one. Which is ironic since they've never even sampled it, yet they have an opinion on it. I've tested both numerous times, true dyno and butt dyno. Here's my dyno chart. With the Ash ECU, I was able to easily break 400whp on stock turbos without the use of an AFC. Let the results speak for themselves.
