Message This is a quote from a 3SI page and it applies to any 3.0 liter V6:

"TD06H-20G. This flow map is for the 20G wheel in the TD06H housing. As such it is sized too large for our engines. Flow map coverage of demand lines is poor. Perhaps when installed in the TD05H housing flow map coverage improves. A different exhaust manifold is required for the TD05H turbine."

This is why your motor made more hp on the TD-05's. Look at the efficiency range mapped out. TD-06's are completely wrong for a 3 liter motor.

Basically - these turbos are just too darn big to work efficiently with your motor. The entire flow map is outside the efficiency range of the turbo.

Shoulda stuck with the TD-05's.
