| The real issue is wether the core size is right. You could put the IC on top of the car for all the engine/turbo cares. If the core is too large or too small or for some other reason does not have the correct flow properties for the given setup, it is going to hinder performance in one way or another. On a Z32 application, the FMIC is rarely appropriate for the car. Thats what nixit was getting at. Not saying that ALL FMICs are bad.
