It would be $365 to repair the u-joints and yolk!! Thats more than an entire powertrain Aluminum Driveshaft. Not only that but he came across with a smartass reply "From what I know any piece of steel will rust after time" as if I should have seen it coming. I thought the flanges were aluminum. Why wouldn't they have taken measures to prevent this?Its funny, not only is the driveshaft yolk and u-joint rusting, but all the bolts that go to it and the aluminum adapter are all completely covered in rust. The way I see it my car is ten years old and no rust anywhere except for a two year old driveshaft, that is their fault.
