that the problem with the skyline is making it left-hand drive...the way the tranny is designed makes it very costly to do so when nessan saw that americans liked italian sports cars and such they decided the sleed design of the Z32 would fair better than the skyline in the states. The reason the TT motor is so cramped is that the designers had specs they wanted to meet. So that the Z would be on the level of the 944 and surpass the american muscle cars if they took the same body and redesigned the motor with the new technology but same smog and safety standards of the late 80s, I am sure the motor would not be as cramped but come on computer technology was still primitive when it came out...jeez I can go on and on.....This is for Damon...no disrespect...I love you site but just think about the above and what Nissan had to work with when they designed the Z32.
