: As an owner of a 1990 Black 300ZX (STAGE III+ NA 2+2)with under 45k orig. miles, and a newer owner of a 1998 Silver Toyota Supra Twin-Turbo, with under 6,000k orig. miles on it "thats right"! I visit both forums often. Now is it me, or are these Supra guys cocky, and claim they beat everything under the sun, thats not a Supra!! They seem never to lose a street light race!!and they seem to always put down Z'ers...WTF...Especially NA's..Calling them useless!! What bullsh*t!! : Lets remember Supra and Z owners-- they are both great cars, and both are challengers to the dark side: (Cameros, Mustangs, Firebirds, and Vettes)and we all know whats in the minds of these rare car drivers minds!!! : Another fact that most people have forgot throughout the years is that the 1990 300zx set the standard for all other sports cars of its time: (including, yes even the Supra!!!)and remember ZTT'ers the NA came before the ZTT, and its still a Z, so give some respect(which I don't see alot here anymore) : And all this bulls*it about NA's being Slooow.. Well lets think about what was out on the streets in 1990...A Camero Z28 with 210hp!! or even a Supra Turbo with 230hp, and heavy as hell, with a body style thats been around since 1986!!NA Z's were beating them at the time, and certainly turning more heads (they stiil do--11 years later).And (ZTT's were killing everything out there til' 1993) : Now this is where the Supra TT comes in, as a owner I have great respect for this car, I think of it as an exotic almost. Radical looks, Awesome performance and handling. On some points, its taken the Z and excelled upon it. As far as looks are concerned, between the two its a debate in itself!! Its a Awesome Sports car, its come a long way from the 86.5 to 92 generation!! : My wife says the Supra is ugly, and perfers the looks of the Z. I tell her not to judge, and respect its charateristics in itself, its a different beast I tell her, but she still keeps the same narrow minded ideals!! No matter what!!Like us sometimes!! : Supra owners (which includes me too)say are cars are faster and better, well lets see, the Z was on the streets in Japan in 1989, before it came to the states in 1990. With that being said, ofcourse they should be a bit better, Toyota had to improve upon what Nissan already had out on the market--Once again the Z set the standard back then!! : The point I'm trying to make guys, is that I'm tired of hearing Supra and Z owners putting each other down, and showing no respect for each others cars, no matter if its a TT or a NA, were all on the same side. In owning both cars I feel stuck in the middle, I love both of my cars, for differnt reasons, and have respect for both.
: So lets quit this Sh*t, and think about these aspects I mentioned before we put down each others rides, its about respect!! : And in my book the one with the most class and sportsmanship always wins!!! And just think we all could be driving 6 cylinder Mustangs!!!! "oh thank God for Z's and Supras, and others of the like"!!!! Sorry,Thanks for letting me vent!!!!!!
